Euthanasia and After care

Veterinary euthanasia is a compassionate and humane procedure designed to relieve suffering in pets facing terminal illness, severe injury, or a significantly reduced quality of life. Our team is committed to providing a peaceful, respectful, and supportive experience for both pets and their families during this difficult time.

We offer in-house euthanasia services for both clients and non-clients, ensuring that every pet receives compassionate care and dignity in their final moments.

Euthanasia Process

  1. Consultation: Our veterinarians will discuss the patient’s condition, prognosis, and options with you.

  2. Preparation: The Patient is typically taken to a quiet, comfortable area and IV catheterization.

  3. Sedation: Often, the patient is first given a sedative to relax and minimize anxiety. This helps ensure a peaceful experience.

  4. Euthanasia: A euthanasia solution, usually an overdose of anesthetic, is administered, typically through an intravenous injection. The patient usually passes away peacefully within moments.

  5. Confirmation of Passing: The veterinarian checks for signs of death, ensuring the process is complete.

Aftercare Options

After care options may include home Burial, Cremation, Memorials products, Grief Support etc.

Open communication with the veterinarian can help ease the process and ensure that all concerns and questions are addressed.
